Suppression of T-Cell Clonal Expansion
Drug is released from Anagel(TM)
The above is a graph of data demonstrating that an anti-inflammatory drug was released from Anagel.  Two controls, one containing the polymer from which Anagel  is formed and the other containing no additive showed no suppression of T-cell response.  Anagel and the anti-inflammatory drug it contained, showed significant suppression of T-cell response.  Analysis of variance, using all of the data points, showed efficacy to very high levels of confidence.  These data suggest that the anti-inflammatory compound was released from the polymeric backbone, one step in the long chain of logic necessary to prove the utility of a pharmaceutical preparation.
